Burundi

Burundi has taken steps to increase access to family planning services, such as improving the availability of contraceptives in health facilities and training healthcare providers to offer family planning services.

Burundi's commitment to FP2030 includes increasing the modern contraceptive prevalence rate (mCPR) among married women from 21% in 2010 to 60% by 2030. The government has implemented policies to increase awareness and demand for family planning services, such as national media campaigns and community-based education programs.
