ARROW

The Asian Pacific Resource and Research Center for Women (ARROW), is a regional women’s organization working in the Asia Pacific region, to advance sexual and reproductive rights of women and young people in all their diversity in the region.

ARROW has been working to advance comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) and access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services that are youth friendly, of quality, accessible, available and acceptable to young people in the region.

ARROW works with youth-led, youth serving organizations, governments and UN agencies at the regional level. Through advocacy and public support interventions ARROW strives to expand the envelope to advance comprehensive sexuality education and youth friendly sexual and reproductive health services.

ARROW Commitment Narratives

  • ARROW, in 15 countries in the Asia and the Pacific region, will amplify our current interventions of youth advocacy engagements Youth Forums- ahead of intergovernmental follow up and review processes around the regional implementation of the SDGs in the Asia and the Pacific region, ICPD+30 and Beijing +30 review.
  • Forums, ICPD and Beijing review processes at the regional and global level, leading to progress on youth friendly SRHR information and services in 15 countries. ARROW will commit to engaging with at least 3000 young people in all their diversity, through our capacity strengthening initiatives.
  • ARROW will monitor and research the access to youth-friendly SRH services including contraception that are of quality, accessible, available, and acceptable through our research and monitoring reviews to inform youth SRHR policy and programme implementation in the region.
