Kimberly Whipkey is Senior Manager for Global Advocacy where she develops and implements FP2030’s strategy for global advocacy and partnerships.
Kimberly has 18 years of experience in international family planning and sexual and reproductive health and rights policy, advocacy, communications, and program management. She previously served in senior advocacy roles at the White Ribbon Alliance, PATH, and the Center for Health and Gender Equity, and she currently sits on the Coalition Steering Committee of the Self-Care Trailblazer Group. Kimberly has a track record of propelling evidence-informed policy, program, and health product interventions globally and in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and the United States, including the introduction and scale up of new contraceptive methods.
Kimberly holds a Master of Public Health from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Bates College and was recognized in 2023 as a top 40 under 40 professional in Northern Virginia.
