As part of the Every Woman Every Child (EWEC) Global Strategy’s Operational Framework (2030), the mandate of the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (PMNCH) is to strengthen accountability. One critical component of PMNCH’s accountability portfolio is to strengthen accountability for tracking commitments made to the Global Strategy. Both governments and nongovernmental organizations, including international development organizations, civil society and the private sector have made commitments towards fulfilling the goals of the updated Global Strategy.
