PPHI Sindh spread its spectrum of services in overall Sindh including outpatient services, maternal child health services, nutrition, immunization, provision of laboratory services and ambulances. Among these, trend of all services has declined due to coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic. As this virus spreads through droplet and hand infection at very high intensity, therefore, people are asked to stay at home and the government has imposed a lockdown. Ultimately, this lockdown mechanism has impacted the number of patients at PPHI Sindh’s health facilities resulting a drastic decline in OPD services of PPHI Sindh in April 2020 in comparison to the services in March 2020. During coronavirus pandemic, PPHI Sindh continues to provide services at 1,235 health facilities with same commitment to serve the community.
